Welcome to Christmas on the Avenue

I can't remember a single Christmas season I did not enjoy here on Seabrook Ave.   Over the years we have celebrated in all kinds of ways.   Remember the carolling down the street?

Then there were the Christmas Dramas,  Christmas in the Bush, Christmas in the Car Park, Dinner on the Avenue,  BBQ's and doughnuts  and of course the year it rained us out and we re-located within 30 minutes to the Arohoe School Hall.  They have all been fun even if it does take until Easter to get all the hay off the property.

This year we will have parts of the Christmas drama interrupting each Sunday morning service.   By the time Christmas has arrived the emerging scene in the manger at the front of the church will be complete.

JUNIOR CAMP
JANUARY 18th to 20th
Karamatura Valley (Huia) is one of the West's most beautiful parks. Hidden beneath the bush clad hills with a beautiful fresh stream dividing it, it is a campers dream.

Commencing Sunday afternoon and running for 2 nights Junior Camp will be a heap of fun.

Please take a Camp Form from the information table.

We need responsible adult helpers to cook, hike, supervise swimming, remove bee stings, help boil water and to help out with eating wonderfully cooked camp feasts.

MINISTRY OVERVIEW
Distributed at the AGM were the Ministry Overview papers.  These show the many areas of ministry we are either currently operating or hoping to launch.   Please take one of these and search for SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES.   We have many vacancies!
